A Few Things About Me
I knew I wanted to be a writer when I wrote my first short story, The Lousy Life of Lauren Lewis, in the sixth grade. (I also happened to win the sixth grade “Be Drug Free” rap that year, so rapping was always an alternative.)
I was born in Colorado Springs to an American soldier and a Korean immigrant.
I grew up in in Newport News, Virginia.
My favorite foods are mashed potatoes and gravy and kimchi.
I enjoy listening to both Tupac and Patsy Cline.
I currently live in Maryland with my husband, 2 rescue dogs and 9-year-old daughter.
