A Few Things About Me
I knew I wanted to be a writer when I wrote my first short story, The Lousy Life of Lauren Lewis, in the sixth grade. (I also happened to win the sixth grade “Be Drug Free” rap that year, so rapping was always an alternative.)
I was born in Colorado Springs to an American soldier from Oklahoma and a Korean orphan from Seoul.
I grew up in Newport News, Virginia. I currently live in Maryland.
My favorite foods are mashed potatoes and gravy and kimchi.
I enjoy listening to both Tupac and Patsy Cline.
I truly believe that laughter IS the best medicine.
